Valve clearances is a 70K service job. If the car's close to 70K or over and has never had it done, it's worth doing. Doesn't need to be Honda specific, as long as he's trustworthy and reliable.

Welcome along. First you switch on cruise, but then press "set" when you're at desired speed. From there Inc is increase by 1mph per button press and Dec is decrease by 1mph per button press. Cancel cancels... Also, pressing brake and/or clutch will disengage cruise.

Yes, exactly. Pre-facelift Exec with factory fitted HIDs, but I wanna change my clusters to facelift, except it would seem the lenses are different so it's a no-go. Bugger that, I'm not that bothered :lol:

But no using facelift halogen clusters with my existing, factory HIDs then? :(

What engine, petrol/diesel?

I had a 94 Golf that I could chuck veg oil in, but I would be reluctant to chuck veg oil in more modern diesels. I get the impression modern diesels have much smaller tolerances and are more finely engineered and tuned.

But they look tired. There's this weird crack thing on the inside. I see it on loads of pre-facelift accords. It's by the side lights. I think it's an inherent floor in the manufacture/design. I'd love to swap them out for facelift. The lighting capability is fine. This is purely for cosmetic...
