    Anyone have experience with SMF?

What are you worried about, tearing the DMF to shreds once you've made your power upgrades or being able to make the most of that power? I wouldn't worry about installing a standard one as I don't think I've read of any accord dmf failures here or anywhere else and with all the examples...

    Ball joint press

An aftermarket ABS sensor can be had for less than a twenty quid nowadays however besides dealing with the aftermath of the breakage in the hub you still have to plug/unplug it from the loom anyway so as long as the original is still working leave it in and unplug it from the loom further up as...

    Ball joint press

No air at the time (have now) good idea to use the pneumatic chisel. I took the knuckle off, ground off most of the spindle and hammered it out. I have a C clamp kit, you should be able to get away with buying the smallest one as you only need a cup large enough to press into rather than a...

@MrMwa Is that right some of the end models were Euro 6, if you're looking out for one how would you know or find out? I looked on the VCA website downloads for 2015 and the 2,2 idtec accord wasn't listed.

    Rust

Yes there's a bit of mixture but even if you break a few because they were damaged on removal, rusted in or whatever you can buy replacements very easily and if you have to run the car without the inner plastic arch no harm done in fact you're probably better off without it considering how much...

    Rust

I'd invest in a trim removal tool before you start, it'll make the job removing the retaining clips a whole lot easier without damaging or destroying them. There's a knack to it that I'm sure you can work out, you need to be able to lever out or unscrew the locking centre then lever out the...

Original Diesel filter really worth buying ?

Covered many times as you know, best is 0w 30 but you can get away with 5w 30. If you think you're going to have the car long enough for a couple or three changes then you can get 20 litres for around £60 - £80. I've had a couple of changes of this and it seems fine but you don't seem to be UK...

2003 Tourer tailgate won't open/. warning light on

Did you actually move the wiring loom around at all, just wondering if you managed to reconnect a break somewhere by accident? I hope it lasts for you but if it happens again at least you have more of an idea of the source.

2003 Tourer tailgate won't open/. warning light on

@HondaAccordTourerOX Oh, just read Acowner's response above about struts being tired and on their way out, tired struts would possibly overload the motor and activate your tailgate to start closing prematurely. Try this then... as soon as the tailgate starts to lift tuck your fingers...
