    Electronic Service Manual

Or mount the ISO with daemontools or something similar. You can also extract the iso and just have it as a normal folder and file. Don't bother buying it, as all it is the same ISO burnt on a CD by someone and charging £10 for it.

Can you upgrade your cams on the stock ECU map?

The K20 he is referring to will be the K20A found in the Type R's. The standard Accord came with k20a6, which is an economy engine, so you won't get much out of it.

    My wife's 6th Gen 2.0 Exec sluggish

They are not rocketships to start with, engine needs revving to get all the power so an automatic is going to slow things down a bit on the daily run and they with a full load it will be carrying more weight. Engine & gearbox is not a straightforward thing, alot of extra modification will be...

Weird idle after cleaning throttle body.

You'll be surprised, they get full of carbon, see pictures of a few here, but it doesn't effect the running of the car as much as it does on a diesel. I've been meaning to do mine for a while, but in no rush as there is no actual problems from it.

Procedure for changing clutch & ps fluid.

Yep syringe out all old fluid, put new fluid in, run engine, do full lock to lock both side, then take fluid out again, new fluid in again, repeat until the fluid is clear like new fluid, this is a long method but the safest method without risking brekaing your PAS pump. The clutch fluid bleed...

That sounds like alternator whine, rather than anything engine mechanical. Check what your battery voltages are.

Weird idle after cleaning throttle body.

If you go to the DIY section, there are a few guides on it, the EGR valve is easy access and job, the port not so much, you have to take the injectors out as it sits underneath.

    Another oil query.

I also use Shell Helix 5w40, made switch from Castrol Magnatec 10w40, car runs smooth on the 5w40 and the Shell oil is good quality and cheap as chips, ~£16 for 5ltr from ECP with discount codes.

Procedure for changing clutch & ps fluid.

For PAS fluid, use genuine Honda fluid and you will need a few bottles to drain out all old, you need to to do full lock left to right to drain air out of the system. Don't let either clutch or PAS resorvoir run low or dry during procedure.

Weird idle after cleaning throttle body.

Sometimes clogged EGR valve and ports can cause issues like this too, worth clenaing them as they become clogged up with carbon.

    Another oil query.

I don't know what state your engine is in, but these cars are designed to be able to be driven at higher rev range, thats what VTEC is all about, when your in that range you will find thats where all the power and torque is, and its linear and goes up as its a petrol VTEC not a diesel where...

so how much of your Accord is an off-the-shelf design

^ Yeh, thats why you will find on Honda's anyway previously they used to reuse the same design and parts over few generations and product ranges. For example the indicator stalks, the rev counter, speedo etc, inside door switches, interestingly the 5th gen had different types, whereas the 6th...

so how much of your Accord is an off-the-shelf design

I think it's an interesting discussion. Some really good points made here. Agree with you there, a lot of people do have that misconception, which is kind of silly, as imagine the cost to the manufacturer if they manufacturered every nook and cranny of the car inhouse. We would probably pay 100k...
