Is there a loss of brake fluid? - in the fluid reservoir? With the engine off, pump the brake pedal a few times. Should get a hard pedal quite quickly. If not, then I would suspect the seals are shot in the master cylinder.

Well it is a heavy car so steering is going to be heavier. It is electronic the power steering rather than pump and belt driven. I quite like the feel and feedback you get from the steering. For a 2009 car, I think the tech on it was and probably still is quite ahead of other manufacturers...

I think he means the ADAS system. I have this on my EX. Its where the car steers itself and radar is used to adapt speed of vehicle when cruise control is on.

Has it been bled of air? There's a 10mm bolt on the top of the filter. Loosen that and squeeze the bulb until fuel comes out. Tighten bolt up and start car

I had this done on my 8th gen a few months ago. I took it to Chiswick Honda and got them to diagnose the cracked EGR pipe at the same time. They replaced that too under extended warranty.
