That's the same thing I did with my old Accord. 89k to 158k miles in two years with no problems :D

What's the most miles you've done on a tank?

Do people get more miles with diesel post-facelift six speed box than the pre-facelift five speed box? Or is there no difference. On my old pre-facelift saloon diesel the most I got, was just over 500 miles. How are people getting to 600?

    cl7 type s engine swap

I have a cl7 euro R and in all gonesty you are better off getting a Euro R. However most things are possible with enough time and money. I think the 2.4 Type S is the best starting point. I know of hybrid civic that has been converted to a FD2 Type R setup. Still isn't a FD2 Type R though...

    1999 HONDA ACCORD TYPE-R getting 250+ BHP?

Have a read of this thread, this is a H22A prelude running serious power. Might have to sign up to read it, but worth doing. http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/profiles/dinos-bb1-2-2-si-vtec-t891.html H22 needs a bit of work to get 250bhp, not as easy as getting 250 out of a K20 Civic Type R.

How large is the fuel tank on a Honda Accord estate ?

Isn't smoking just soot and the particulate size? Not necessarily a sign of something that is failing. Just that in altering the fueling, timing, etc to make more power and torque the trade off is that the particulate size increases (more visible).

    Double DIN Install

Yep, very pleased. Wasn't finished last night. So did a bit more tonight. Re-jigged / fitted the adaptor plate. Pushed it up a bit. In the day (having done this with low light / dark) I could see it was not sitting straight. Was able to refit the ashtray ***embly and it now sits as it used to...

    Double DIN Install

Other question then, I had the premium sounds system fitted. I've used an adaptor harness, does this mean that I am still using the Honda amplifier in the centre of the dash? I find that the volume control on the Alpine does not give much control i.e by volume 5 it is already very loud.

Anyone had to modify the adaptor plate to get the ashtray fit in properly? My ashtray keeps popping up when moving the lid up and down. Noted the adaptor plate is for lhd. Anyone? Cheers.

    Double DIN Install

Cheers for the offer. In the end, I went the whole hog and bought the Alpine CDE-136BT. I liked the look of the Parrot. It was cheaper. It had bigger and clearer controls. However is still an android device. So it takes the same time to turn on and bootup as an android smartphone. The adaptor...

    Double DIN Install

Many thanks B) . So from you are saying, if I order that lead up, I don't need to cut any of the existing loom? And it just all plugs together. Keeping the powered antenna, also climate control display? Anyone recommend a single din Adaptor plate that won't need any fabrication?

CL7 Premium Sound system - Want to install single DIN

Was wondering if anyone can help? I've tried PM'ing ukaccord, but system says he can't receive messages? :( Still progressing with doing a single DIN install in the Euro R. Have found a guy in Hereford who installs stereo who would be able to do it, but he has never done a 7th Gen accord...

    vibration and shudder between 65~70

If wheels were not round it would be difficult to balance them when fittin new tyres. As the wheel rotates its very easy to see a buckled wheel. Does the judder appear when at a constant speed or accelerating? I had it when accelerating. It was due to a knackered driveshaft. When putting torque...

CL7 Premium Sound system - Want to install single DIN

Nice bit of kit. I have the holder for the phone and tomtom, so happy to use that for controlling mp3 tracks and navigation and answering calls. It will be in my eye line and in easy reach. Just need something to do the BT and take in the sound from the iPhone. FM radio. Maybe DAB radio?
