Just browse thru the forum mate, diesel faults especially and you will know almost everything you should worry about.

If your car is locked you cant open any doors mate and that includes boot as well. Also if you unlock and car locks itself, you have to unlock again from your key and then press the boot opening button. If you still cant open your boot manually then the handle mechanism is broken. Hi mate, hopefully the whining noise you here wont be alternator bearing. The longer belt puts to much pressure on alternator through one of the pulleys that is removed when revised belt is fitted. You dont have to ask really as all belt fitted now are the revised ones and the offending pulley...

I prefer the aftermarket ones as they are much easier to fit. OEM are pain to remove if they brake, I had to drill thru bolt and snap it to replace it. Did the rear, now I got the front to do as well :) Dan
