    Limp mode

Before throwing all these parts at it, probably wise to let an auto electrician check it over or if you’re fairly competent, run some basic continuity tests. It’s quite possibly a wiring break somewhere. What’s the actual error code?

Time to let the Accord go

It’s a shame Honda bodywork is not as strong as its engine and mechanicals.

Newb: Persistent DPF warning light. Could use some advice...

Have a search of the forum, it’s a well covered area. Stop using local garages to solve this issue, you’ll keep getting exactly this sort of random advice. Once decided, feel free to drop me a private message if you would like to explore a permanent fix.

    PGM-FI

Try swapping one of the plugs round to see if the fault follows. Then you’ll know if it’s the plug or wiring.

    Ticking noise under acceleration

Try blanking your egr, see what it does.

    PGM-FI

Hi I think I remember you, I’m glad the fuel pressure problem is solved (although it sounds like you went the long way round lol) If you’re still having an open circuit error after replacing the plugs, then it’s either down to you using a non genuine Honda plug, damaged plug or wiring. Yes the...

    Ticking noise under acceleration

Could be a leaking injector seal but would be there even when not under load. You probably need to try and isolate if it’s from the engine itself or an ancillary like a drive belt pulley. Blue smoke would indicate oil burning, does it use much? Never seen one needing valve stem seals, more...

    Rear Bumper replacement

As long as both are from the same generation (pre facelift) then yes the GT and Type S have the same bumper and kit.

    JDM 2.4 Type S Questions

They don’t have a big battery on the petrol engines so probably fine if you’re not having any issues Only use genuine Honda ATF, it’s not very expensive. Stick to genuine Honda plugs

    Accord going flat

Should be closer to 14v Faulty alternator I would say.

    Accord going flat

Sorry I didn’t read your post thoroughly. I would say it’s either battery or alternator again then. These use a smart alternator it’s possible the clutch on it is defective

    Accord going flat

Very common issue. It’s your Bluetooth module, just locate it and disconnect it. They become faulty and cause a parasitic battery drain.

Accord mk7 2.2iCTDI randomly loses all power and dies every few km

Yes that sounds very much like a sticking intake runner control issue, caused by egr soot build up in the intake.

Car Alarm will not stop going off

If you can get it on a Honda hds system it will show which sensor triggered the last few alarm events. Often it’s the bonnet sensor which you can just disconnect. You can book with me if you’re local to the north of England.

2011 CDTi going into limp mode

That’s why i said swap the complete rail. A sticking relief valve can cause high fuel pressure error too, either swap both parts to your current rail or just source a used one with parts attached.

2011 CDTi going into limp mode

Sounds more like a faulty fuel rail pressure sensor. Sometimes cheaper and easier to find a secondhand fuel rail with the sensor and relief valve attached and just swap that over. Doesn’t need to be a Type S, a standard 150bhp fuel rail will work.

2004 icdti tourer shudders and fails to start on a cold engine. Repeat action and it fires then perfect starting every time until engine cold again.

Could be a sticking egr valve. Try temporarily blanking it at the inlet manifold side. You’ll get an error but you can clear it off with a basic code reader just for the purpose of this test. If it works then consider an egr off permanent solution, drop me a line if you want details.
