While changing my oil last night I couldn't help but notice my car is missing it's undertray, are these the same for all models or are diesel undertrays different?

I've got Apex lowering springs (think they are the same drop as Eibach) and running 8x18 Mazda RX8 alloys, offset is et40 and tyres are 225/40/18. No issues at all with clearance, scrubbing, etc.

I'm wanting to remove the towbar from my tourer and on closer inspection I'll need to remove the rear bumper to get to all the bolts. Are they any guides or tips on removing the bumper? Anyone on here done it? Having a quick look around there seems to be a few screws inside the arches and there...

I'm hoping to finally splash out on a decent set of alloys for my tourer but I know I'll have to roll the arches to get them to fit without catching, but I'm just wondering what you lot who've done this have done about the plastic arch liners? In the past with cheaper bangers I've just ditched...

Thanks mate, although the part's more expensive than a lot of the replace mirrors I was looking at! Does the mirror need to be dismantled to change it, had a look to see if there was anything obvious from the outside to undo the lense but couldn't see it?

Thanks Brett, mines an 04 so pre-facelift. Can you retro fit the auto folding mirrors? It's something I'm surprised wasn't fitted to the earlier cars, had a few much older Jap cars which came with them.

Thanks Brett, thought that would be the case, probably wishful thinking hoping it would be a 5 minute/£5 fix. I think my colour is called mint green? Kind of greyish green colour? Doesn't seem to be a common colour so I might be better off finding the cheapest working mirror I can and getting...

The lens on the passenger door mirror indicator has a crack and it doesn't light up after the crack, can the indicator unit be changed independently from the mirror? Or does the whole door mirror need changing?

Thanks guys. The disc looks in good condition but there's no harm in giving it a clean. I've found a light buff with car polish has work on stratched discs in the past so I'll give that a go. I might see if anyone has a lense cleaner to hand and give that a go as well, ***uming it won't actually...

I've read that disc cleaners don't work, or are there certain types that do?

Yeah it's a 2004 model. I'm getting the disc reading error message, which from reading the various threads suggests the lense needs cleaning, so hopefully this weekend I'll remove the DVD drive and have a go at cleaning the lense. If that doesn't work I'll have to send it off to Alpine at some...

Just had a bit more of a search and it seems the Sat Nav needs to be working to change it, which mine isn't at the moment. Looks like a job for next weekend.

Any idea how you change the clock on the LCD display at the top of the dash? I've had a good play around and a search on here and google and can't find out anywhere how to change it.
