    One year on...

Agreed, I love my 6th gen, I originally bought it without the idea of keeping it long, but fell in love with the car and have found it hard to give it up. Driven so many other newer cars and every time I get back into the Accord I realise how good of a car it is, it ticks pretty much nearly all...

Accord Sport, water in foot area

Check that windscreen isnt' leaking or any air con issues. More importantly check you don't have the footwell or bulkhead rust, get a screwdriver and lightly tap at that area, it won't be so obvious. I didn't know I had it until I started pressure washing that area and it exposed the rust. It...

Cheaper to buy a fob off ebay and reprogram. Do you not have a spare fob to try?

    Rust repair needed

Usually they would have to repaint the whole door so you would be looking at roughly ~£150-180

1999 Accord with F20B6 engine losing coolant

I think you need to a proper repair on your car rather than hack jobs using seals. CHange the raditaor and offending hose pipe, it won't be that expensive to do. Also no known common fault with the HG on these engines, they are as bulletproof as you can get with cars.

Does my car have traction controll

It doesn't have traction control, it doesn't need it to be fair. Not exactly that powerful and you have double wishbone suspensiin, 5 links at the rear, 3 of them keep your wheel glued to the road at various angles.

Car struggles with air con on.

    Tie Rod Terror!

Same here, everytime they either give the wrong part or the designated part is wrong and does not fit and the peoplein store are clueless. Fortunately I have a blueprint stocked auto parts shop where I can go and get correct parts!

    Checking timing belt?

The timing belt could have been changed but they decieed not to change the aux belts. You can take the timing cover off and have a look if you must.

    Snapped front drivers side spring

Replace them in pairs too. I would avoid cheap brands, otherwise you will be replacing twice. The springs in your car will be 17 years old, so they have lasted very long, Honda suspensions are known to be the toughest around. ;)

    Clunking front end

Yes possible, also make sure your drop links are in good shape and none of your springs are broken.
