Auto folding mirror kit for Honda Accord 7th Gen? Any tips?

Hi mate, Really sorry, it took a long time to find the info for you; It's an NQ-RMF01 (that's what's on the instructions). Then.... when I did a Google search, I found my own post on here :)...

Auto folding mirror kit for Honda Accord 7th Gen? Any tips?

Not sure what you mean re social media?. I'm interested in the full-sound system you mention, did that replace the Sat Nav (as that's what I have) - I'm kind of keen to update that too (though also want to keep the car as original as possible).

Auto folding mirror kit for Honda Accord 7th Gen? Any tips?

I've got a 2.4 7th Gen so it worked for me. For information, I've also fitted a nice reversing camera which I can highly recommend fitting if you haven't already done so (there was a lot of help off here to help me with that). And I've also fitted a tracker, a TruTrak, which I also highly...

Auto folding mirror kit for Honda Accord 7th Gen? Any tips?

Yes I did, and very happy I am with my set up too - the ones I bought from Malaysia didn't work and had to send them back to the seller. My autofit electrician had a module and installed that for me. I remember posting somewhere the make/model of the kit he installed for me, so I'll see if I...

    AC Condenser Recommendations?

Hi, My Honda dealer confirmed that the AC condensor is where my AC leak is coming from and has agreed to installing a non-Honda part if I supply (Honda's Condenser was £550 + VAT whilst I can get an aftermarket part for anywhere between £70 to £300). Does anyone know who makes and supplies the...

Can someone with a 7th gen confirm if a piece of trim panel is meant to exist under dash?

I’m doing some work on my car (electrics, under dash, above pedals), and I don’t seem to have any trim panel to hide all of that wiring etc. Now, I don't even know if there is meant to be a piece of trim panel there or not, but I’m kinda surprised there isn’t. Can someone confirm if their 7th...

    Written off 2.4 Saloon

I don’t even know if this part exists, but under my dash (above the pedal area) is there (meant to be) a trim to hide the wiring and steering column etc? if so do you have that trim part?

How to remove rear seat base? (leather seats).

Solution is that you simply pull up the seat base with a sharp, confident pull and they pop out of their catch mechanism (there's two, one under each rear seat).

Help with wiring of Mirror "AutoFold" / "AutoTilt" Kit

Hi, Long story! First, when the part finally arrived from Malaysia, the company I purchased it from were full of BS (sorry, but that's the truth, had to get PayPal involved twice, but that's also another story). In the end, I got a kit from a local Auto Electrician and he fitted it for me (I...

How to remove rear seat base (7th gen saloon)?

Easy, just give the underside of each seat a sharp, confident tug from under the base upwards and the u-shaped bolts(?) snap out from their plastic housing - here's one I made earlier :)

How to remove rear seat base (7th gen saloon)?

I have searched high and low on how to remove the rear seat squab..... the manuals I have and the YouTube videos I have seen state that there are two clips beneath each rear seat half that need to be squeezed/pinched together (by hand) in order to release the rear seat bench....... however...

DIY and REVIEW - Wireless Reverse camera

Hi Blippi, Hope you are having a great Christmas :) I've got my reverse camera kit, and decided to install it myself :) I also went for the wired version rather than wireless and I'm planning on wiring this all up later this week. Thing is, I believe I need to remove the rear seat (base...

How to remove rear seat base? (leather seats).

Apparently, there should be two knobs/hooks under the seat squab but I cannot find them at all. I've tried prising up the seats a bit to see where exactly these hooks are but there is hardly any gap there at all and even shining a bright light between said gap, there simply isn't any knob or...

DIY and REVIEW - Wireless Reverse camera

Thanks again Blippi :) I guess I could try the transmitter solution, see how I get on and if I don't like it I can always proceed to having the cable run through from back of car to front. Many thanks for the links and ideas - I am pretty good at DIY, not afraid to try things and thanks to...

DIY and REVIEW - Wireless Reverse camera

Thanks Blippi, I think the wireless kit shown in this thread came with the camera (OP posted in 2010), and I've searched pretty thoroughly and haven't found this camera anywhere, so I'm ***uming it's no longer available any more. Furthermore, I'd be concerned there might be some latency...

    Reverse Camera

I'm looking to install a reverse camera to my 2006 Honda Accord 2.4 (I have the OEM Honda sat/nav screen in the centre of dash). I haven't purchased the parts yet, but pretty much know what model/make it will most likely be - this one here - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/182235651801. I also...
