    H22 conversions

I spent long time looking into this conversion when I had my old 6th gen F20B6. If I'm honest, it's not worth it. There's so much difference between the two that it's just not worth it. Sorry to pi55 on your cornflakes, but put simply, I wouldn't bother, just buy a type r, that's what I did...

    2006 2.4 Auto - engine undertray missing, problem ?

They're attached with a few push clips and (I think,) 6 bolts. I've cables tied mine on as well because as I've said it goes to mountain bike resorts. I caught it really badly in Germany this year at Lengris Bike Park, I dread to think what would have happened if I didn't have it in place.

Very loud screeching noise AND smoke on start up....

If you're gonna keep the car, for £40 it's worth getting a second hand compressor and then keeping the belts running where they should be. I'd also definitely recommend getting the revised and shorter aux belt fitted. It's the first thing I did when I bought my tourer.

    2006 2.4 Auto - engine undertray missing, problem ?

Depends what the cars going to be doing. I bought my tourer for carrying me and my mountain bike around the uk and Europe, so I drive on tracks and such like a lot. I was under the car last weekend and I've caught my underside a lot...a real lot lol, so if I were you, for the sake of £50 it's...

    Random one...sorry.

Thanks for all the replies peeps, I can't check the brake set up at the moment as my vans off the road so I'm using my car as my work van, (thank fook I bought a tourer lol). I imagine the sound is the pads moving inside the drum at the rear. That would also explain the noise that I thought...

Very loud screeching noise AND smoke on start up....

The screech will be a slipping belt. Te smoke could have been from the belt where it was rubbing on whatever pulley is/was stuck. Best bet is to remove the aux belt and spin everything, make sure everything that should spin, does. As has been said the new aux belt is shorter than the old...

    Random one...sorry.

Loud enough for me to take notice, and I can feel a little knock through the seat. I'm wondering if it's related to my 'bearing' sound. So thought I'd ask to see if anyone else's does it too.

Would you buy this Type R?

Not all going cheaply are sheds, sold mine for £2,100 and she was mint, maintaince was bordering on obsessive, and had a spec list that was outstanding, but needed it gone ASAP. It really is just a case of waiting for the right car, and as usual, timing is everything.

    Random one...sorry.

Hey all, Random question, when driving along, if I pull my handbrake on gently (or at all) I get a really loud bang noise from the rear which is, I ***ume, the pads moving in the calliper. My question is should I get this massive sound? Non of my other cars do this, only the tourer. My old...

    Terrible Fuel Economy (Petrol) MPG

I've got a 2.0 auto tourer as well, a full tank will give me over 400 miles with a mixture of town, A roads and villages. On a long trip (to Germany) I had me (93kg) my dad (145kg), 2 cases, my mountain bike and cycling related bits and was getting 270 miles from brimmed to half a tank left...

Hey dudes, Has anyone changed the rear wheel bearing on a tourer before? Pretty sure mines gone. It hums when driving and the pitch and volume changes when the rear wheels underload (when I'm turning right). Cheers dudes, Si.

    Advice on code help please

Hey all, long time no speak. I'm here with a problem with my 7th gen tourer. It's the 2.0 auto and I love it. But got the code P2646. I'm hoping someone else has had this code. I know what it is and have been on google etc. I found a link to someone explaining the filter behind the VTC gets...

Automatic Gearbox reset after ATF change - how ?

If you disconnect the battery for 15 mins it has the same effect as a reset, but as far as I'm aware it's not necessary. I changed the trans oil in my 7th get auto when I bought it and didn't do anything.

    Timing chain replacement

£1100 is a good price and as has been said I wouldn't worry about the injectors. Especially seeing as HH have said the same thing lol. I would like to add that I doubt you'll get £2000 trade in :( from your post it seems as though you've replaced all the major things that could go wrong. I...

    High pitch squeal when accelerating

Is it a metallic, mechanical or air squeal? The problem with sound faults is on a forum we're unable to hear them lol. Can you pinpoint where the sound is coming from? Any slip in the clutch? Have you had the gearbox oil changed recently? And are there any other symptoms like a hesitation...

    Front Grille badge.

There's usually a few people breaking ATRs on the web, have a search around and see if someone has the grill and/or badges for sale. Or you can always order one from Honda.
