Hi guys, need some help here. I was in Tesco doing shopping, about 11 miles from home. I started up the engine, then a fault popped up about a minute after, and tell me to "Check Battery" My car behaved normally as nothing happened, So I kept driving for another 9 miles with a constant speed...

I did it, but it doesn't warm up at all, only a little bit of the back.

How long does it take to warm up the seats after you switch on? My heated leather seats seems not working properly, I could feel a little bit warm from the back, but not the thigh area. Is that difficult to fix it and how much would it cost?

Did you leave the key in the ignition when you attempted to jump-start or charge the battery?

Do it yourself mate, it is rather easy except the fuel filter, but that still not too difficult to change if you could get an extra pair of hand from friends or family members. Save you a fortune mate

The HTF is connected with the Sat Nav unit, you need to remove the top part of the centre console and access from there. However, the Sat Nav will lose the voice control if you do so.

I guess you live close to Galway, or Cliff of Moher then. My 06 executive also has the problem of the HFT, and so as some other members. You better disconnect it from the Sat Nav, because the faulty unit would drain the battery. Apparently the corrosion on alloy wheels and cracked exhaust...

Can't you repair or refurbish it with a new bearing? It could save you some money if that's possible

It happened on me and the Honda mechanic found that was problem of the faulty HFT, he disconnected the unit and cured the problem. I suggest you to have a full electrical circuit check mate

Coolant should be checked when the engine is cold, the very same as the engine oil. And the level should be in between the Min and Max markers. In the other word means you need to top it up :)

About the battery, my car is exactly the same like yours. It would fire up easier and better if the battery has been fully charged. I'm wondering if the glow plug need to be changed....... only guessing
