A better bit of advice has to be, don't bother with that, run a good OE clutch, get a stage 2 map from Fahad, and live happily in the knowledge that if youre not a buffoon you have a good streetable setup that didn't cost a fortune and isn't overly harsh on the motor and driveline. Although...

Don't forget the intermediate shaft. Without a new one, there's not much point changing the o/s driveshaft just to wear it out on an old half-shaft.

I think http://www.ecutesting.com/ had them on the shelf when I enquired before. Not cheap though.

I have taken one apart and they're just 3 pieces like a sandwich, with the block in the inner piece, so it can be swapped out. There are also firms that offer an external pressure sensor conversion too.

My S14 only made 250-odd hp with a couple of mods, but was nearly 300kg lighter than the subaru and without the drivetrain losses of the AWD. More importantly, the Nissan would make boost 1000rpm before the Subaru comes up on the cams. The little coupe had a lot lower profile than the wagon...

Don't get me wrong, I loved my spec B, but my old S14 200SX (also with complimentary LSD) would've destroyed it in a drag race (unless it was wet, or even damp) Both great cars to drive though, although I'd imagine a clean tidy S14 that isn't sh@gged out is a bit of a unicorn these days.

All I'm gonna say is, unless you have a spare briefcase full of plutonium in the boot, keep it under 88mph.

Always used to use a Wi-Fi obd2 connector and dashcommand on my old iphone. Wi-Fi doodad went up the spout after about 3 years, so I really need to buy a replacement.
