Door open warning setting off alarm.!

Back in covid times, I had similar alarm and door issues on a tourer caused by an excessive build up of moisture which resulted in water getting into electrical connections. Try the folowing thread https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/tourer-boot-leak-solved.25931/

HELP - Brake Master Cylinder spares NOT available

Has anyone had any problems repairing or replacing their brake master cylinder? I have a 2003 2.4 Tourer which has a 13/16" BOSCH brake master cylinder honda part no 46101-SDD-E01. I have started getting air in the front right & rear left brake lines with the occasional brake pedal having to be...

    restoring headlight lens

During lockdowns, I had to restor my wifes 04 Civic and used McQuires 2 step headlamp restoratotion kit. It did a great job but 2 years later it is starting to yellow very quickly. Annoyed at the short life of the refurbihment and having to do my tourers headlights (coated in the same...

    Alarm again

I had intermittant alarm problems exactly as you have described and found the solution to be a connection block in the boot getting wet due to condensation. I no longer have alarm issus, see the thread link below. https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/tourer-boot-leak-solved.25931/

A month further on and all is well. The odd signs of water in the rear sill but no alarm issues, 3" iceblocks or door issues.

    Alarm continually going off

I found two main issues. The first was when I wasn't using the car much and the main battery and alarm batery failed. Rather than empty the car and pull out all the panelling, a pair of earplugs, a jump start and a 20-30 minute drive up the road fixed the problem on a number of occassions as...

    Tourer boot leak solved!

When I first investigated, I thought there may be a window leak as I felt moisture across the whole panel but a quick hose down from the outside confirmed nothing getting in through the window seals. Usually the black painted area on the window becomes cloudy if there is a leak. Problem has...

    Tourer boot leak solved!

PS - also considering a desicant type dehumidifier now the condensation level is no longer a 3" deep pool and a nominal bit of moisture.

    Tourer boot leak solved!

Hi, just a quick update on my previous solution. The images show the connector hidden in the RHS of the boot showing corrosion. The new drains are working fine. I removed the harness from the lower harness mount and raised it. I also found that the cubby was still collecting water - forgot...

    P0325 code!

Had to replace knock sensors on a Civic and Accord Tourer. 2L Civic was best to reach from underneath the car as it was in the middle of the block under the intake manifold and it was hell to access. the 2.4l Tourer was best to access from the top. I have small hands and managed to squeeze in...

    Alarm continually going off

I had the same issue over the last few months and did a lot of surfing to work out the issue and a solution. Having a Tourer, there is a lot of boot trim to remove, so the easy fix is a pair of ear plugs. Whenever the car is left locked for a period of time, there is a drain on tha main battery...

2003 Tourer tailgate won't open/. warning light on

I had intermittant alarm, battery and tailgait issues recently only to find condensation building to the extent of shorting an electric connecting block in the boot. Link to the roof leak thread with info is https://typeaccord.co.uk/board/threads/tourer-boot-leak-solved.25931/post-262762
