    Miraculous scratches appearing

In recent months miraculously scratches are appearing around my car, it's so annoying as I know they weren't there before, as I personally wash my car and know about existing blemishes on all panels. I have lately been parking on the street, out of view as our new car occupies the drive now. It...

Does it always seem like you're fixing your car?

Before I bought the Honda I owned audi a6, added 48k on the clock over 3 years. Over the years it only needed a timing belt and general servicing. Then I had an A4 cabriolet for a year, only serviced once before selling it for the Accord as I needed to free up some funds. Since the Accord I've...

    Limp mode

Thanks Fahad, filter hasn't been changed well over a year now, but I don't do the miles I used to do in the car now. Car has been feeling very sluggish though. I think it will benefit from a filter replacement. I don't have a device to plug in it.

    Discs & Pads

Having had new genuine Honda discs and pads installed all around, they are now feeling very poor. For the first few hundred miles they were very sharp, now they feel worse than my old set. Do they need bleeding or something?

    Limp mode

Last week floored it on slip road getting on mway, over did it on low gear as some fool was trying to undercut me on the slip Rd. When I made it to the mway, it felt as no power, glow plug light was blinking in twin flashes, pulled on hard shoulder, car wouldt rev over 2000 rpm, as my exit...

    Heated seats light

Driver side heated seat light does not come on Hi position, nor does seat get hot any longer, works fine on low. I did unclip it a week ago to install xcarlink, but it worked fine after reassembly. Any ideas where to start? Fuse?

    Xcarlink Install

Thanks Matt, all makes sense now. I was going to leave the xcarlink unit exposed, which means taking out a storage tray at the back to let the connector through, but as the xcarlink will remain permanently sticky taped in front of it really won't be exposed.

    Discs & Pads

3 of them did push back easily, it was just the 4th they said needed brute force. Now I know one of the rear ones was changed 2 years ago, maybe a winder type was put on instead of a pusher backer type. Unless they just fitted the wrong one. Hmm anyway they work brilliantly and I cannot...
