I don't believe anyone has riveted the sensor on, I think this is how they come as standard because I've searched for them on Ebay and they are the same for my car.

Car went in limp mode, on motorway, pulled over on a dangerous verge as no acceleration. Had the kit with me, came up as throttle position sensor. 10 mins later, started , all light gone and drove home fine. Read in another link someone cleaned it with compressed air.
