    Headlight Beam

if you have h1 bulbs, try pushing the base of the bulb into its seat with your lights on to see if the pattern changes the retention bracket can get loose and wonky at times, to the point where it will not force the bulb into its seat. it's a very mild steel as far as spring steel goes, so you...

    Tuning and remap

it would depend on your location, but I strongly recommend keeping it in the typeaccord family and using F6HAD's services, I'm extremely happy with mine (yes F6HAD I'm going to write that review eventually;) )

you can pop the projector out from the back of the housing if you carefully squish the housing with a g clamp to make the hole sligthly oval sourcing a replacement lens may prove difficult, but morimoto sells 2.5in tsx-r clear lenses that may or may not work. they definitely work for accords...

Does the 7th generation Accord pre-facelift have a power steering hydraulic filter?

they look like universal inline filters to me generally, parts have an OE number for cross referencing. if a number does not exist, it's either not been catalogued correctly, or it isn't made with a specific number range in mind it doesn't show up on the parts diagram either

    Steering Rack.

has anyone locked the wheels and checked the coloumn/u joints for play? are your strut mounts good? ie, do your front coil over strut ***emblies rotate smoothly as you turn the wheel, or do they shudder and bind? what about your lca compliance bushings? if the rubber in the bushing is missing or...

    Headlight Bulbs

HID xenon efficiency is about twice that of regular halogen, not even HIR comes close. but do bear in mind our h1 halogen projector bowl is vastly different from the HID variant, on the bright side(lol) projectors are less sensitive to light source placement, so even with a hid kit, your beam...

Dreaded ABS, VSA, TSA dashboard lights

sticking solenoids, pump wear, faulty pressure sensor, sticking valves or valves unable to seat the latter 2-3 can be alleviated by not having nasty brake fluid. copper lined tubes, cast iron calipers, aluminium distributor blocks are all dissimilar metals in a fluid and acts kind of like a...

    Headlight Bulbs

surely anything attempting to replicate the filament placement in a h1 bulb should just drop in? https://www.morimotohid.com/morimoto-2-stroke-2stroke-h1-led-bulbs?quantity=1 for example I know the price is steep lol, ebay has similar "patterns"...

    Headlight Bulbs

Mine kept blowing while I was still on halogen, nightbreakers, xtremevisions, regular bosch and phillips, nothing made any difference. Rewiring the main beams with power straight from battery through a relay with stock wiring as relay trigger helped with longevity, i don't remember the wire...

    Alternator Questions

bearing failure seems the most common failure for the 7th gen and that's the way mine went uncommon for brushes to fail, overheating will burn the epoxy insulator and windings but never seen or heard of it on ours or 8th

    OEM steering wheel upgrades.

I would be cautious with changing the wheel because of the takata recall, make sure that the donor wheel is not affected

    restoring headlight lens

you're on the right track :p air dry is fine if you have the time ambient for application, heat for speeding up hardening. temperature alters flash off time, if it flashes off too quickly or unevenly because of uneven application, it will cause pinholes. we bake finished clear at 60C* for...

    restoring headlight lens

2k clear coat in thin coats, allowing it to flash off so the solvents don't cause a reaction and break down the plastic. make sure you haven't cooked your plastic lenses during sanding. it is a petroleum product and when heated it releases oils which the clear and hardener will then react...

Accord 7th Gen brakes update: All OEM solutions

you're right, but don't forget the pins and mounting hardware! sadly, the cardone bracket seems to be the most reliable way to do this with a 300x25/28mm disc. if you're willing to settle with a 282mm disc there are options from cars like the prelude, cr-v, hr-v, ITR and nsx
