    LED Lights

This was my thread on changing to LEDs and not liking it: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/11984-sidelights-to-leds-back-to-bulbs/ Some agree, some don't.

    Totally transformed by xenons!

Not speaking for everyone but I think most of us know that difference. The problem is that there are different types of projector, those designed for filament bulbs as in the case of the gen7 have a different internal set of reflectors and shields than projectors designed for HID bulbs, so even...

I found it easier than the polishing! About the same amount of time as waxing?

Sidelights to LEDs, back to bulbs!

With the LEDs on the facelift it was even worse!! It's due to the blue sidelight housing, you need yellow bulbs to get a white light - which is just silly.

    No, it's called modifying.

    Totally transformed by xenons!

The halogen beam pattern only shines up to the left as it's supposed to light up the pavement. I've never been flashed by anyone in mine and had 3 different people I've asked said it's only bright in their mirrors when going round a left hand bend at a certain distance away - but it's not...

    Windows steaming up a lot

I did try cleaning the screen but it didn't seem to help. Might try the pollen filter but I don't hold out much hope. It's never been this bad in the whole time I've had the car so somethings gone wrong!

    Windows steaming up a lot

There's no coolant loss at all, all heaters and air con work as they should as far as I can tell. Yesterday evening when I got in after work the screen was WET inside! I had to use my chamois sponge thing to wipe the inside, same thing this morning. This morning it had the musty smell again as...

    side light access

I found the nearside one much worse to do, as there's a plastic vent in the arch liner that is very stiff to move out of the way - many scratches to my hands from doing that side!

    Torn between petrol and diesel

As I said before I bought a diesel because I prefer the way it drives, same as Jon I'm on short journeys (<5 miles usually), about 9k per year. I don't understand why everyone says if you do less than 12k-15k you MUST get a petrol, just change the oil on the diesel more often.

I hope not, she can't drive!

    Windows steaming up a lot

It seems to be since I had the accident and front wing replaced - missus reckons it's noisier on the motorway as well. I've fondled the mats but can't feel any damp. Could be a coincidence of course. I've tried leaving the a/c off and just use the heater, it makes it a bit better doing this not...

    supermarket fuel paranoia

I've only ever got diesel from Tesco on 3 occasions, twice in the Mitsubishi Delica and once in the Accord - I know it's another anecdotal "cool story" but on all 3 occasions the car ran like a dog on that tank, and took until halfway through the following tank (of Shell VPD) to get back to...

    Disappointed Accord Owner

So you press unlock, get in, close door, start engine, drive to fuel station, open door (doors are unlocked already?), get out - why would the fuel flap then be locked on Tony's car?

    Disappointed Accord Owner

Interesting. So does it auto-lock when you're driving? How do you then 'unlock all' before getting out?

    Disappointed Accord Owner

Aha! I guess there is a pull up tab thing under the drivers seat by the door to release the fuel flap? Otherwise use the door unlock tab on the drivers door to unlock the doors before you get out. The problem is you're unlocking when you're stood outside, then not opening any of the doors, so...

    Disappointed Accord Owner

I drove a brand new Vauxhall Insignia a few months back and absolutely hated the steering on it, could not wait to get back into my Accord! Not sure what my point is other than maybe you just don't get on with this car (I've had people say the Insignia is the best thing ever), or maybe you...

    Disappointed Accord Owner

Brett does yours have the blue connector under the seat for the 'bong'? Also how does your locking work? ie: when does it autolock? Mine only autolocks if I unlock the doors with the fob and then do nothing else, any other situation (if I open a door, the boot, if I use the unlock switch on the...
