Mine is noisy at that speed but then I expected it to be. I do find road noise more of a problem than wind though. To be honest, I'm not sure I'd be driving my car at that speed for prolonged periods anyway. Max speed in the diesel is only about 130 and the 7th gen is getting on a bit now...

Yep iPhone is WiFi only, not Bluetooth. The one I have is called Lujii mini obd2 from Amazon and worked fine on my android tablet using the torque app. The socket is down by your right knee when sat in the driving seat.

Just done my fuel filter, it took just under 2h from getting the tools out to putting the kettle on at the end. A lot better than the 3h it took last time. I might claim it as 90 mins though as I spent a while under the car trying to find one of the bolts that I'd dropped!

It sounds like you really need to be test driving any potential new cars for the best part of a week to see how your back gets on with them. Have you considered hiring a couple from your shortlist? Ok, it would be expensive but it would be cheaper than throwing thousands at a new car that seemed...

Thanks. I noticed the screwdriver slots but didn't want to try in case they snapped. Do the jets move up and down, or is it more like you screw them tighter / looser?

Coolant is drained from the bottom of the radiator - its a plastic plug or wingnut type thing if I remember correctly. Can't remember if there is an air escape valve on the pipework.

The washers only spray a couple of inches up the windscreen, which is ok when driving but poor when stationary. I'd like them to spray higher up the windscreen but can't see how to adjust - I've only ever seen the little balls you put a pin in before. Someone put me out of my misery please...

From experience, they take a while to bed in. They normally grab the outer bit first then work their way towards the centre so they should sort themselves out soon.
