Don't worry, its normal. If you don't open the doors then they lock again after about 15 seconds. I think its a security thing in case you press the button by accident.

Baz is right on this one. The pre-facelifts had 16s as standard. 17s were an optional extra. Does look like he's swapped the wheels onto his new car, which is annoying but at least you get the newer wheels. His old 17s are probably crusty and in need of a refurb :)
