My car had clifford alarm fitted by the same shop same chap 4 years ago before old siren had a problem, and they are clifford dealer, so it's realible from my point if view, I also thinking poor connection while my battery had non problem on starting. I just fix is problem by disconnect the battery and reconnect it after Jew mins, and tailgate work fine, light on dash gone! But need to rework the Clifford alarm, very simple fix.

Don't ware any time, just go straight to fahad's remap plus EGR valve deletion, in that way, you won't face any power loss problem, trust me, I've been to this, and my tourer running superbly good after that.
