    As said on post 5 Glad your sorted Konda. This is also very common on the 8th gen saloon as it shares the same rear brake set up. I had this after 4 years on ownership.

    Steve if you want to stick to OEM then I'm pretty sure the type r civic clutch is a strate bolt on. Also you can go down the rout of a light weight flywheel as well. All depends on how much you want to spend.

    Sounds like rear brake hoses are shot. Replace these and have a brake fluid change. Also make sure you have the correct pads as the saloon ones have nipples on to slot into the pistons. Iv seen this lots of times.

    Hi David I'm sure on your car the MAF is on the air pipe next to your air filter. Only use a MAF spray cleaner and don't touch the metal wires with you fingers as this will damage the sensor. Unplug / spray and let it dry for an hours and refit. Does yours look like this...

    This might help Iv just had irregular revs on my car when in neutral. Rev the gas and it Would drop to 500 rpm the pick up to normal again after a few seconds. Iv just cleaned the MAF sensor with MAF spray and all back working fine again. The code was P0171 bank 1 running leen.

    Just had the same fault code on my car and also the revs at were dropping to 500 rpm when I took the foot of the gas. Then it would settle to 750 after a few seconds. All sorted now as the MAF needed cleaning with MAF cleaning spray.

    As the said possible wrongly installed clutch. Did they check your DMF to see if this was in spec if not then this also might be the cause. Was the work done at a Honda garage or independent?
