Hello all, can anybody tell me a recommended milage to get the timing chain done on the cdti. Ive just gone over the 72k mark, i service the car every 10k (oil,oil filter, fuel filter) I just want to try and plan ahead abit as I can see it being a relativly big spend. cheers mark

its all about tyres and driving style. As has been said smooth driving is the key and if you get a slide on dont just slam the brakes on, and try and look for some fresh snow as it will have abit more bite than the hard compressed stuff. Older cars will always be better in the snow if driven...
