    Honda accord diesel catback

No mate. Tried a cone filter straight onto intake pipe. It does give a 'whoosh' sound for approx 1500rpm then nothing. I found it slower performance quite a bit. Went with Pipercross panel filter, no sound but much better to drive.

Is your car a pre face-lift model? I looked at body kits for mine but the only ones available were the Pre face ones. I see that yours has the bonnet trim on it? The face-lift ones didn't have that IIRC

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

Sorry for lack of update. Standard Intercooler is apparently too small to get any real gain for a rework. A front mount intercooler is best bet apparantly. Not really wanting to go down the road of reworking my setup. And ive already had inlet manifold off for cleaning......and it was spotless ;)

    Tips For a Better Sounding 2.2 i-CDTI

I now have a Pipercross panel filter as i lost abit of power. I liked the sound but not worth the power loss for my stage 2 remap. Was a universal filter i had fitted. 3" iirc

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

I've purchased a decent second hand intercooler for £20 and sending it directly to Pro Alloy Motorsports Ltd in Suffolk to get an estimate for reworking it. If it's too costly then it's only £20 down the drain :D

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

It is to get a quicker car! Ok, I shall ignore the bhp figure and concentrate on just getting the torque sorted. The car feels better with standard filter back in...as expected! After IC mod I'm sure F6HAD will redo my map for best results ;)

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

You chipped into this thread with 'buy a fast car in the first place' and go hybrid etc etc. You completely missed my point, even after I said I only wanted a few more ponies and wouldn't spend mega on power. Fake dyno sheets and bragging in the pub? Wtf? I'm not here to willy wave. I'm here...

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

You would have been aware of my modified clutch seeing you have previously posted on my build thread, hence my comment. I didn't appreciate your above comment, I don't think it was needed to be honest.

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

I don't really know to much about the tech side of things! The hybrid turbo thread I have read...and it gets poor results at alot of cost. I shall say again, I'm not looking for mega power and to pump money into power gains, so the other tuning tweek I will do should see me over...
