Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

I think your missing the point here. I only want the car to be slightly faster as I know it can be done. I'm not looking for 300 bhp here. Only want the car to be a surprisingly quick package. The VW passat was only a reference point to my thoughts :) I know you think your helping with your...

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

Im not 5 years old. I understand that I could have bought a subaru/evo or any fast car. But I bought this car and spent thousands on it due to the fact I love Hondas and like the shape of the Accord. I'm only wanting a bit more power from the Accord and due to the fact it's possible, I shall...

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

I read that the internals will be good for approx 250bhp so I went with 220bhp as a safer bet! If I get the IC re-worked and custom cat back exhaust, roughly what would be the realistic remap 'tweek' power you could get me?

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

p.s Does anyone know where to buy a second hand STANDARD Accord intercooler? Was thinking that I could get it re-worked and simply install it rather than having it off the road re-working my own IC.

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

It was all tongue in cheek ref his pal, I gave him the thumbs up and he 'hazard lighted' me (but he WAS laughing)! B) It was a new style Passat but didn't get badge details. Moving on, I now want to make mine a bit quicker than it already is. The Accord is a heavy car but it's the same speed as...

    17" 8.25J ET35 on Accord Tourer with 225/45/17

Doesn't look stretched at all! So basically minimum work required to fit them ;)

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

I knew someone would nail me for that induction kit :) I like the sound off it when accelerating from 1500rpm - 2500 rpm but after that it's nothing. I suppose your right :( If I swopped back to original filter and got custom cat back exhaust, would that see any gains or does the...

Anything else above a stage 2 remap?

Hi, Just got pumped tonight of a VW Passat and I can just loose my mates BMW 320d (remap unknown as its too quick for standard 150bhp) I have a Premier Tuning Stage 2 remap done and was wondering if there were any other power upgrades other than the expensive and unknown Hybrid setup?

    2007 i-CTDi diesel

I personally would just get it re-welded properly. That way it eliminates the ebay crap that will no doubt give you more hassle. The quality of products out there recently has been shocking!

    17" 8.25J ET35 on Accord Tourer with 225/45/17

My rear wheels test fitted on the back..... I defo need arches rolled so unsure if your 8.25j and 225 tyre will need the same treatment. Only way to find out is try one wheel at a time on and see :)

    17" 8.25J ET35 on Accord Tourer with 225/45/17

Here are my new wheels; 9.5J Et40 with 235/40/18 tyre on it. This will give you a comparison. I thought the 235 tyre would be a bit much of a stretch but turns out it was ok. Various pictures on Google give poor results for tyre fitment on desired alloy sizes.

    Tips For a Better Sounding 2.2 i-CDTI

Here was the thread I mentioned; http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/19488-dump-valve-in-22-diesel-blow-off-valve/ I was thinking of how to fit this to the air filter piping but then where would the vacuum pipe go to and would it have enough 'suck' to be loud...

    Tips For a Better Sounding 2.2 i-CDTI

There's a thread that says it can be done but then the thread went into the realms of 'why' and 'power loss' so the question never got answers to how it's done.

    Tips For a Better Sounding 2.2 i-CDTI

Yeah, once I get my wheels sorted the next mod is a custom cat back twin exit system. I have been looking into universal BOV's but no-one seems to have fitted any. Research on this site has a very good explanation from Relic, but no final outcome. Basically I'm looking for a cool sounding car...
