    Cleaning carpet mats

Depending on how bad the soiling is, I've been known on occasion to run them through the washing machine on the coldest setting and air dry. Obviously you'll need a large drum machine and can only do two at a time (one front - one rear for me) Simpo's method is probably more mat friendly I...

    Haynes US Accord workshop manuals.

Just read the tail end of this, freddo the file you have is it a .iso image file or are you trying to zip the individual files/contents? If you have the disc image your better off zipping that then the recipient can "mount" the DVD image using virtual clone drive or similar (which is free by the...

ABS & VSA Fault, anybody got any advice?... please, cos I wanna scream

Ok a big post and blatant plagiarism but this is the full monty starting with the ABS reset 1) Jump pins 4 and 9. (I removed obd socket by squeezing the bottom of the plug to remove it from its metal bracket, turned the obd connector around and put a paperclip in the 4th pin (black wire) and...

Have you tried this yet ? http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/22383-84-1-vsa-reset-procedure-without-hds/?fromsearch=1 That's said, you have to do step 1 (jump pins) then use the brake pedal to erase the abs code first then perform the vsa reset. You'll know when the abs has been removed as...

ABS & VSA Fault, anybody got any advice?... please, cos I wanna scream

Sensor logic failure means the vsa reset procedure needs to be done, either with a Honda hds (or compatible) scanner or the "paper clip method" which is documented on here. Your probably getting the 84-01 error code. I've used the paper clip method and can tell you it works as long as you clear...

few questions regarding 05 estate from a newbie

Iirc the you'll be better off trying to fit an aftermarket satnav stereo into the cubby hole beneath the stock stereo. To swap from standard to oem nav involves swapping the dashboard and splicing some wiring etc. Really not worth it for what is now an old fashioned/outdated system. You'd also...

Small knock felt through steering column

On the ramp, engine on and off you could hear the rack wasn't happy. Also car on the ground rocking the steering wheel with my head shoved down the back of the engine. Sounded like the noise was coming from the column itself at first but it ended up being the rack. With mine you could also feel...

Had this myself, occasionally felt through the pedals also. One new steering rack later and all cured. The moths in my wallet got a permanent home after that.
