instrument panel/cluster light going on or off when going over bumps?

The knob you turn on your cluster to adjust the brightness is worn. Full brightness is right at the end of turning it, as you go over bumps it switches between brightness. Turn it left all the way then all way right, about 10-20times it should fix it by cleaning the terminals- think old stereos...

    Engine oil flush

I guess he's saying it can cause more harm than good. Engine flushes remove sludge which is caused by oil oxidizing. Removing these can block the oil passage ways, as the product normally requires you to run the engine for some time it'll be moving around your engine, can block your filter etc...

    Best Clearcoat Repair Product

ideally you will need a machine polish. But you can use Meguires ultra cut by hand working a small area at a time. Then follow up with a filler polish such Autoglym SRP and seal with Autoglym EGP. All of those products available at Halfords. It may not rid the deeper scratches but will go along...

    Engine oil flush

Engine flushes should be avoided. Plus if your car has run on full synthetic then even less of a need. Oils already have cleaning additives, and if you run Shell V Power then your covered.

    Which toolkit?

any general toolkit, Halfords pro range is excellent. I recommend the 200pc kit when on offer for 125-135. In addition you will need a good set of screwdrivers, various pliers, oil filter chain/wrench, gearbox key for oil, drain pan. If you doing front fogs you will probably need a drill and bit...

    Best Clearcoat Repair Product

if it's just light cratching on clear coat you need to machine polish with compound. If you do not have a machine look into hand polishes from the likes of meguires. If the scratches are deep they you can gently build up the layers with base then clear and wet sand but then you will need to...

Workshop manual for N22 (diesel accord)

but you may as well drive it till it dies or gets really bad. Bleed the slave cylinder, 2 man way in the meantime. No point worrying over dmf, if it is that which is likely then just keep driving it. But don't pull it apart for it to be a release bearing. if it's really bugging you take it to a...

    Should i buy a 150k+ 8 Gen Diesel

150k is ok for a diesel but it will need dpf, clutch etc as with any diesel doing that mileage. I like the 8gen but only thing puts me off is the arch fill. You would need decent wheels and spacers but even then the looks not right.

    exedy clutch

not for the diesel. Honda use LUK. I have installed both exedy and AP in petrol Honda no problems. I would say though never purchase a clutch from ebay so many people have purchased rubbish.

has my alternator seized or my engine?

the point for me was when the op described his engine cut out while running or similar. I wouldn't have thought a seized alternator would overcome a running engine crankshaft? I've driven miles with a failed alternator, no power or lights in my diesel. It must be more at play, for example a...
