Hi lads, it's anyone has been ever used a exedy clutch, i seen on eBay a 4 pices kit (HCK2063DMF) for 1100£. It looks like to be the most expensive one so far for the i-ctdi engine.

not for the diesel. Honda use LUK. I have installed both exedy and AP in petrol Honda no problems. I would say though never purchase a clutch from ebay so many people have purchased rubbish.

I am also looking for a exedy clutch for the k24a3 extra torq and mine needs replacing...

There are a lot of fake exedy clutches around and with a big labour intensive job like a clutch change it is always best to get the best quality components.
Buying genuine means the clutch bearings will be Japanese high quality and you know its will last. Buying a cheaper alternative means the bearings will be inferior and you risk having to change it again within a few months of maybe perhaps a year.

I have known a few mates of bought non genuine clutches and the release bearing started to make noises only after a few months. He had to change the clutch again. So the money he spent trying to save a few bob he might aswell installed a genuine part. Do it once and forget it.

People have different opinions with this type of thing and again it depends on the persons budget and how long he/she will keep the car for etc but in my opinion anything that is very labour intensive its always best to get genuine parts. If your able to do the clutch yourself and a lot of people do then theres an argument that he /she can get cheaper components because if it fails they can change it easily themselves

Hope this helps.
