    2.4 MPG

190bhp remapped accord 8th gen 42 45-48 55-63 For you to make a decission I'd look at your mileage and your driving style. Petrol is going to be a lot better for hard core driving. The diesel is more of a GT cruiser that I found quick enough and I enjoyed how quiet the car was as I over took...

Who has a remapped Type S 2.2 iDTEC

It should do! With 30 bhp more and loads more torque it should pull away with ease especially up hills.

    vibration with speed

I had the exact same thing and it was my rear tyres. You would swear it was coming from the front as it really did vibrate. A new set of rear tyres sorts my problem out.

    Siezed rear caliper

My 8th gen cost about 300 from honda for a recon one. 500 for anew one. It was the passenger rear caliper too.

    Type S MPG

Cheers Rich. My work meant a manual diesel wasn't going to be suitable any more plus I'd had too many situations where I needed a bigger boot. Give it 12 months and I'll let everyone know the truth about petrol v diesel. I got 39mpg in the crv going from dudley to Stafford which was quite...

    ES or Ex

Ex gt is the best of both worlds if you can find one. It's a shame your not after a saloon as mines for sale.

Just test drove the mazda 6 175 bhp sport tourer auto with only 400 miles and it only achieved 38mp. Apparently it will get better. Hmm.

Test drove an Accord 2.2 i DTEC EX 4dr (08) - enocountered noise

Is that the saloon or estate you went for and What mpg are you getting from it? I think I'm leaning towards the volvo v60 and mazda 6 as I might buy the car instead of pcp. I need to test drive both and look at my finances as I think changing my car is going to cost more than I'd like. I do...

Test drove an Accord 2.2 i DTEC EX 4dr (08) - enocountered noise

Lol its crossed my mind. Actually I might as well just buy a freaking cheap van and leave it on my parents drive. It will be cheaper than tryin to get a crv

Test drove an Accord 2.2 i DTEC EX 4dr (08) - enocountered noise

The top of the range civic tourer originally but my accord is actually better. That scuppered my plans so I've been seeing if I can afford a mazda 6 tourer as they do an auto with great mpg which suits my closet grandpa driving. I'm not sure what other makes I should look at apart from nissan...

Test drove an Accord 2.2 i DTEC EX 4dr (08) - enocountered noise

I might be selling my Ex Gt saloon as I need a bigger boot now so could do with an estate. There's no corrosion as there's no sun roof. Full honda service. Roof and boot spoiler and side mouldings added 2 weeks before the wife got pregnant. 790000 miles. If your interested let pm me and ill...

    Service light reset

.While stationary and the ignition on. Select the service reminder and hold reset for 10 seconds I think. I did it the other month.

    Lowering Springs for the EX

I meant einbach. They were new springs and I believe they've styled nicely now. I could do with a test drive again to see how it feels.

avoid 'Jimmy's Parts' (jap car 'specialist)

If you paid on a credit card you have equal liability and can claim your money back through them. There's also the distance selling regs too. Citizens advice buro and Trading stands should be able to help.

    Accord 8 Gen trunk mod

Looks good. It could do with slowing down a bit on full opening. Maybe adding some sort of bump stop. Not sure if it's possible.
