    Photos and videos....

But it's the uploader who needs to pay, not the viewer (I think anyway). Don't go signing up to photobucket as it might not fix things! You can usually click on the broken image and still be linked to the original picture upload.

    Photos and videos....

It's not you. Photobucket changed it service conditions about 6 months ago or more. Made it so that you have to pay to view embeded images. It broke nearly every forum on the Internet

Sorry, misread. We're in 8th gen aren't we... Thought we were in 7th gen. My bad...

Plug & play auto folding mirrors

So are the folding motors fitted but not wired up from factory?

    2005 2.2 iCDTi Gearbox fault?

Open dif. Once one shaft goes, all power goes to the broken shaft as there's no resistance on it. Same happened to me. One shaft snapped and car was completely motionless.

    Intermittent airbag light

Not come back since. I'm certain it's a dirty contact issue. I work with electronics a lot and am used to cleaning switch contacts. My gut feeling on this is definitely the contact in the steering wheel boss.

    High mileage club?

I'm fast approaching 150K now  . Engine and gear box still feel great. Spent a lot on the suspension and drive shafts the last few years which I guess accounts for something. That said, I'm starting to get rust bubbles on wheel arches, the bonnet and every time I need work doing it's...

In this Weather - VSA On or Off ?

The handbook says words to the extent of between ABS and VSA as long as you're stamping hard on the brake (don't pump the brakes), it'll bring you to a stop and as it's a front wheel drive car with VSA, if you're understeering or wheel spinning, just point and squirt and let VSA do the rest.

In this Weather - VSA On or Off ?

I was once stopped on an icy road, slowly sliding towards a give way and a busy main road. I just pressed hard on the brakes and the VSA worked like crazy to bring the car to a stop. Seriously. In these conditions is when it knows what it's doing.

    Advice needed please

Not really. They stretch and get a little noisy (I think...). Or maybe that's the chain tensioner wearing down and needing replacing... either way, I don't think it's too common a problem with the iCDTI. What you want to check for is that it's had it's exhaust manifold sorted as the early ones...

Petrol Throttle Body Clean - over 100K, well worth doing!

Yeah, my MPG has improved noticeably since doing it. As much as between 25-50 miles per tank depending on driving conditions.

    Flickering speakers

Yeah, the 2.4 has 6 gears. I think the pre-facelift Diesel does too, but I could be wrong.

    Littlebo/UKCL9 CL9/CM2 - K24 Reflash/Remap Test ECU

I'll echo this (aside from the lpg stuff as I'm stock fuel system). I've done over 50k miles since having it done. An old drive shaft snapped due to corrosion. Replaced both shafts with uprated "Insane Shafts" to be on the safe side, as I'm also lowered which can place strain on the drive...

    Flickering speakers

Wow! That's a new one . Maybe the wiring is rubbing against something in the gear linkage. Might have pull the centre console apart and have look around.

Petrol Throttle Body Clean - over 100K, well worth doing!

The engine was actually still pretty warm from a drive when I did it, and I let the car idle for a few minutes after it. I've also covered about 300 miles since doing it and it hasn't missed a beat. But, yes I should recommend when you start it up after doing a throttle body clean, turn off all...

Petrol Throttle Body Clean - over 100K, well worth doing!

Hey guys, So over the winter the car went into limp mode momentarily a couple times after the throttle simply didn't respond to pedal input. Worst case scenario was a problem with the throttle mechanism itself, but after a little googling, this is not really a thing on the K engines. So I took...

2.4 Type S Drive Shafts Replacement

Insane shafts mate. Get them at H-Tune. They're about £400 a pair. They're uprated for modified K24s, but frankly, they're stronger and cheaper than OEM shafts and the blueprints in my experience weren't much cop. I wore out a blueprint after about 18 months after my original shaft snapped due...

    Scam?

Does seem odd... Generally if something's too good to be true, it probably is. I wouldn't want to say one way or other, but this does all strike as rather odd. Perhaps a kept wife's run around and she didn't use it much, hence the private plate and low mileage. But still...
