Darren did the SOT-047 work ok with your parrott kit? Am experiencing troubling with getting the mute wire to work, as are a couple of other members (have been connecting it to the correct place...)

He lost me when he started mentioning attenuators.... If I was you Nigel I'd give justcarkits a call and speak with them. The attenuator was only like £16 or something - they should be able to advise on what cable(s) you need...

Done a bit of digging around, called Parrot UK, who referred me to another company for cables. Apparently, for the premium sound system I'd need cable MMP-019. Could someone please tell me if this is the same at the SOT-047 cable?

Just called dynamic sounds who said that I'd just need the SOT-047 cable. Justcarkits said I'd need the cable, plus an ISO Level Attenuator. Anyone have experience of this, with the premium sound system? :huh:

Drat. Ok, I'll speak with them, I have the premium sound system, but that doesn't have the sat-nav like yours does.

I bought a griffin itrip like this and once you find a good radio frequency, the sound can be pretty good. It also has a port where you can connect a usb cable and charge your device at the same time.

Funnily enough I'm planning on installing the mki9000. Isn't the harness cable the SOT-047 mentioned here?

See I was wondering this, but isn't it a bit dangerous hiding the wire in there? What I mean is, shouldn't the a pillar area be obstacle free in case the air bag needs to go off?

Ah that's cool thanks for that. I think there will be a bit of the wire visible also when I come from the door frame to the headlining, but I guess its unavoidable too...
