    p1237 fault code

I'm a bit late to this one but in my experience a P1237 code related to the EVR Valve (boost solenoid as you refer to it) see my Post

8TH GEN diesel clutch? better ?

Out of interest looking on Euro Car parts the LUK clutch kits have the same part numbers but its the LUK flywheels that have different part numbers. This suggests that the pressure plate is the same but you'd have to check to make sure.

2 Stroke oil in your ictdi

I've got a load of old Red Ex bottles that I decant the 2 Stroke into and use one bottle per fill up, then reuse the bottle. I also put a bit of Red Ex in with each fill up but only do this as I bought a job lot going cheap ages ago and am still trying use it up.

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

Sorry the fault finding didn't cure it, I take it the turbo isn't making any unusual noises as you have not mentioned this previously? You've checked for leaking vacuum pipes from the solenoid and anything else around the turbo? It could be the veins as Jimbo stated but I'm no expert. Hopefully...

    direct replacement sat-nav head unit?

Never mind they can't be that desperate for our business. Besides I've just paid enough money to service / MOT / insure the car plus now looks like I might need a clutch. So this purchase will have to be put on hold.

    CLUTCH SLIP!

Yeah your right typical. I may go down the paddle route but have been contacted by the garage that carried out the service I just had, I've let them know I had some issues with their work i.e coincidental EVR valve failure and the possibility the clutch was slipping when they serviced it and...

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

You certainly did get your monies worth with 300k on the clock. Just a quick note though, if your wife's car is a pre-face lift and yours is a face lift or vice versa you wont be able to swap the EVR Valves as I think they're different.

    CLUTCH SLIP!

Hi Ben I guess that was at JCB Honda, so was the total cost of the job including labour £892? How do you go about getting the Honda Happiness price?

    CLUTCH SLIP!

I was kind of thinking along those lines. Are the CG Motorsport clutches any heavier / snappier than the original plate? Also do you still need the alignment tool when installing? I ***ume you do. Cheers

    CLUTCH SLIP!

First time I have had a chance to drive the car properly today after having the service carried out and fixing the EVR Valve problem, then low and behold the clutch is now starting to slip (3rd and 4th gear) so as you can imagine I'm not best pleased. I'll see if there is a issue with the...

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

My suggestion to you would be to swap with your wife's solenoids before changing the fuel filter as it would only take 10 minutes then you could probably rule the solenoid out if doesn't cure your problem. Just be careful not to damage the solenoids as you don't want to 4 in one hit. ;)

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

Did you try swapping the 2 EVR Valves or at least checking that the pipes were in place.

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

It may also be something as simple as one of the vacuum pipes has come off the EVR valves, or you have a leak in one of the pipes so check them as well.

Genuine Fuel Filter & P1237 DTC

My thoughts exactly. I was a bit cheesed off but I'm now relieved that the problem would appear to be sorted now

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

If you look at the second link in my other post the EVR Valves are both pictured on there and label as number 9. That whole diagram is effectively the top of the engine with the plastic acoustics cover removed (this is held on with four 10mm nuts) the 2 EVR valve are also held in place with two...

Just bought 06 Accord 2.2 EX CTDI with fault code P1237

***uming you have a face lift Accord they are very easy to located and replace. They are both under the engine cover, one is located at the top of the engine as you look at it whilst standing at the front of the car near to the fuel priming bladder (this is the one for the Turbo). The other is...
