    I get exactly the same with my 2008 ICDTI EX with Sat/nav - I've not gotten around to checking the BT module, I started with the mic first - as the nav diag doesn't register any input from the microphone. Curious to see if this is just due to the BT module!

    I'd make the ***umption that whatever it is, disconnect battery before messing with it. Probably paranoia there but, if there's no power going to it then no reason for it not to be safe to remove! Afraid I've no idea what it is - but undoing anything down there is a nightmare.
