    DIY - AUX input + IPOD+CD changer

My Non-SatNAV version is the executive's Premium Sound System with an in-built 6CD changer. Is your white aux input at the back being used already? If so, you'll need a y-splitter for it. Get the ICD one that I gave info about above. It works with the in-build CD changer.

    DIY - AUX input + IPOD+CD changer

I had two versions of the Connects2 boxes (001, 002) and they both didn't work in my Non-Sat Nav stereo. I got the ICD box and it worked perfectly. It's the same idea as the Connect2 box - red/white RCA input on the box that connects to the Aux input on the back of the stereo. When connected hit...

    Direct/permanent phone charger

Anyone know how to hook up a permanent phone charger to the car ... i.e. have it hooked up behind the dash and accessible somewhere in the car. It would be a micro-USB cable that will be providing the charge. I have the devices that plug into the cigarette lighter and provide a USB port(s) but...

REVIEW + DIY - Grounding / Earth Kit

It's not such a big issue. Only happens when reception is bad anyway, in low reception areas ... even if lights are off. Just makes it worse, that's all. Mostly it's perfect tho.

REVIEW + DIY - Grounding / Earth Kit

Two questions: Q1. Is this any good for an iCTDI ? and Q2. In low FM radio reception areas my HIDs interfere with the signal giving a fair bit of static, would this help eliminate the static/interference?

How long has your clutch lasted

Ya, perhaps there is too much torque going through it. No, wasn't done by yourself. The lads at the main dealers said they've replaced about 10 clutches before and I'm the first one to come back. These guys are a main-dealer but they are very good. It must be the torque going through it. I...

How long has your clutch lasted

I got my clutch & dmf replaced @ 89,327 last December. I'm @ 100,593 now and it's slipping again! That's only just over 11,000 miles! Last time it didn't cost me anything and they gave me a 1yr parts & labour waranty on the new one so I'm still covered but still, it shouldn't go within that...

Finished fitting HIDs to Lows, Fulls, and Spots/Fogs

Not only the insurance, tax on the pre June 2008 system is awful. My insurance is 830 euro with > 5 years no claims. Tax is something like 880 euro!
