    Uprated Headlight Bulbs

In my experience so called 'uprated' headlight bulbs offer only a marginal improvement in brightness / visibility and come with a disproportionate drop in service life. Given what a faff it is to fit the bulbs ( https://jmp.sh/sFiX3eq ) when they fail, I wouldn't bother. Keeping the headlight...

    Maintenance whench

A great many people (myself included) have had this 'feature' turned off (as I understand it it can only be turned off once, permanently) and do annual / 12K mile servicing instead (though I do mine more frequently  ).

To that end I'm not really familiar with it. It's to do with...

    Headlight adjustment

The end of this 8th Gen document might help -I imagine the 7th gen is much the same. https://jmp.sh/sFiX3eq I know from experience it's very easy to fit a 7th Gen dipped beam bulb upside down, see this one... https://jmp.sh/aeJALN6

    Gearbox oil change

Even if you don't want to tackle it yourself, it's quick and easy for anyone with a few basic tools. A mechanic would have it done in half an hour. Using genuine Honda gearbox oil might be safest. http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/14409-i-ctdi-manual-transmission-fluid-change/

    High speed judder/vibration

What he said. I had a pronounced vibration at about 50mph that vanished at higher and lower speeds. Issue was uneven tyre wear caused by poor alignment. I didn't spot it, but when the tyre guy pointed it out it was pretty obvious. After it was set up (and two new tyres  ) problem solved...

Oil pressure sensor 2009 diesel tourer

Have you checked you've got some oil in? LINGS doesn't help much with the sender's location https://www.lingshondaparts.com/honda_car_parts_selection_pfk?block_01=17TL4901&block_02=E__4400&block_03=949&block_05=hcr and I've just had a look under my bonnet and can't locate it  Tread...

    Clutch failed at 62k

Mine failed early too :-( http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/20437-i-dtec-clutch-slip/ Though mine was slipping rather than not going into gear. New gearbox oil greatly improved that symptom on my 7th Gen but you've already tried that. I ***ume the dealer will rule out peddle box / master /...

    Honda CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC

I can't comment on the car, but be mindful of the DPF on any modern diesel -your i-CTDI doesn't have one. If you / your partner do diesel mileage (frequent long runs at speed) and accept the fact sooner or later it'll wear out then don't let it worry you. If you only ever nip to the shops, it...

Moving from 7G Tourer to 8G Tourer advice

My facelift ES GT has nav and rear camera. It has half leather unheated manual seats and no parking sensors. I've no sunroof. My boot lid doesn't open itself. The mirrors have electric fold, but are not automatic. My lights and wipers are both manual. I missed some of these toys when I went from...

    Rear windows anti pinch mechanism

I've never had to do it, so can't really offer any advice, but if you've not got access to HDS it goes something like this... NOTE: Do each bullet in Step 4 within 5 seconds of each other. 1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II). 2. Move the appropriate power window all the way down by using...

    Unlocking all doors

It seems like the other warning beeps and bongs are still present, but the really irritating one has gone. I reckon removing one of the pins from the shell to disconnect the key-in detection switch and refitting the plug with the other 3 wires in place would allow the key hole illumination to...

Full credit to julekasMobilek! The incredibly irritating beep when you just want to listen to the radio with the door ajar is no more! And, as far as I can tell, no unwanted side effects.
