I've two accord tourers both diesel ictdi 250k bought with 47k on clock IDTEC 230K bought with 63k on clock Both manual they say the petrols are bullet proof Can't help regards the auto but I'm after one so will be interested to see the replies

Don't let the petrol brigade talk you off the I-DTEC it's a fabulous car far better than the I-CTDI. If your not happy with the one you test drove take another out.

You sometimes get squealing if your anti rattle clips split ( think that's what they called ) if it is them just take off

Don't waste your money on Honda parts. Yes certain things use genuine but not brake pads and discs

Yes Rich slides on sideways,but with not to much force I can get off by pushing it sideways. Not sure if this is the norm.

Well as you no I have both and the 8th gen is a much superior vehicle to the 7th gen.

Cheers going to be a taxi when I actually find one, I expect the MPG to go up, but will be so much easier around the city.
