    ReGas...

Hehe, I wish lack of use was an option( 600 miles/week just to get to work and back) , I'm aware of the use it or lose it so I leave it on all the time including winter ( as it helps demisting). I guess I'll see how long it lasts and go from there. Ian

    ReGas...

Had mine done yesterday, they pulled 0.065kg out and put 0.475kg in( also added 100ml of oil). The guy did comment that these have a very small system and its not unusal to put 7-800g of refrigerant in cars of this ilk. I know one of the guys on here does this so just wanted to check with...

How long has your clutch lasted

Right guys, I thought I'd do a little experiment to demonstrate just how easy a life my car has. This morning I drove normally but counted how many times I changed gear and braked. In the whole journey including having to stop at the lights on Simister Island( just missed them otherwise I'd...

How long has your clutch lasted

I do drive it properly... :D properly for me in this car is to get me to and from work as cheaply as possible, I have my motorcycles for my "fun". As mentioned my journey is 90% motorway so its not exactly a place where you can have much "Fun"....... IMHO Its lasted as it still performs the...

Facelift wipers: cheaper at the dealer!

I personally like the PIAA silicone wipers, a little pricy but they do the job very nicely. Previosuly I always used RainX on my screen but with the PIAA ones you dont need it as they build up a coating through use http://www.piaa.co.uk/wipers/wipers.asp

HI Stu, Apologies for thread wander but how did you find GH Blackburn from a service POV. I live in Accy but work in Knutsford so I could use either GH or HH for my up coming clutch change. I know the standard answer on here is use HH but if GH are decent guys who know their stuff then I could...

    5w 40 oil

isn't the consensus that worn turbos on diesels are really bad idea due to the potential for "running on" and destroying the engine? There are some spectacular videos on youtube of diesels effectively destroying themselves due to worn turbos "feeding" the engine with its own lubricating oil to...

    Where does your clutch engage?

Yes to original clutch as far as I can tell, a full history was provided when I bought it @ 132K detailing even down to bulbs and tyres but no mention of a clutch. I am very mechanically sympathetic driving round the potential slip by not booting in 3/4th so its not actually slipping under...

    I've found a bubble!

at the bubble site there is no damage at all, the bonnet and front bumper is a proper pepperpot of chips though. I'm guess ing no to the warranty side as its not got full honda service history, at 163k miles its not doing bad, I'll just have to touch it in for now.
