i would of put the value on the accord for no more then 3.8-4k with that high millage. Honda petrol engines are more reliable then there diesel. i think you should look into a cl9 if you got 5k you could pic one up with about 50k on the clock for that amount.

I have a simlar issue it happened after i asked halfords to replace my bulbs.... yep here it goes; one night driving home in the dark the police pull me over saying my head lights out please get it replaced ASAP being me a little paranoid i thought well i will go halfords and get the guys there...

there are people here that can remap it so your vtec experience is kicking in from sooner. Also with a honda there built like lego you can tune and fit new parts to it BUT they dont fall apart like lego
