Sounds like something top end damage rather than bottom end. Still need to remove the head but he thinks the chain jumped and cause a valve to be stuck open slightly then making contact with the piston bending the valve. Should have the head removed soon and will find out for sure but not...

I did suggest the coke method to my mechanic but they were saying it wasn't a carbon build up issue and that it was probably rusted itself in. Could I try soaking around the injector with WD40 and leaving it for a while to see if it works its way down to the bottom? Also seen carb cleaner...
