Hi all

Has anyone had any experience with these tyres ? I recently bought 2 for the front of my type-s from the trusted Camskill and had them fitted this weekend. However, on closer inspection i noticed that on one side the tread seems to be reversed ! ***uming, both tyre's were fitted correctly (displaying 'outside' on the wall) I popped into another tyre fitter to inquire about my observation and was advised that that they had experienced this before and had been advised by uniroyal that it was correct and the tyre's work well.

Anyway just had a look on uniroyal.com and it does seem they are correct, but i just cant get my head around how this works !

I've used them before. Not on an Accord but an Audi A4 and they were the best tyres in the rain i've ever used. No aquaplaning at all. Felt very confident in driving the car even in heavy rain.

Not a great driving tyre as they are a bit soft in the sidewalls but for commuting everyday they were excellent imo.

They point outwards to clear the water away

Thanks for the reply Remedi, yes I've heard good things. All does seem right fitment wise, it's just on picture 4 on the link I have added (The water flow on the tyre’s footprint) the left side tread seems to be forcing water inwards rather than dispelling it outwards as the right hand tyre illustrates ! Just seems a strange setup !
