Will the one tool work for both 7th and 8th generation? What is the issue regarding the filter caps. I removed my one very easily with a chain type filter wrench. I wrapped the cap with foam to ensure not to damage it.

It turns out that its a rear brake caliper sticking that is the cause of this. It wasnt until this morning that i discovered the problem. Im ***uming there is a slightly warped disc too.
