    Clutch Pedal Creaking/Clicking Fix

Looking around the forum, this problem affects the 7th and 8th Gen. Including my 8th gen. Are the Master Cylinders the same on the 8th, the reason I ask is that I can not see the 2 holes in the washer as mentioned. I am about to purchase the recommended grease and a plastic syringe and tubing...

    Strange Issue ?

It is when you have your foot pressed down on the clutch and the moment you select the gear is when the wobble is felt (foot still pressing down the clutch). The wobble I can live with, so long as the clutch does not pack in ......

How to get a cable from the passenger footwell to the battery?

Hi All, Came across this thread by accident, I no longer have my 7th Gen anymore. I can confirm that I used the grommet in question a couple of time (for the Sub Power Feed and also for my ambient lights). I have the full walk through for the under seat ambient lights still and have notice a...

    Strange Issue ?

NOOOOOO... Why am I so unlucky with the Honda, I dread to think how much this will cost me.... 68K on the clock, 13 stamps in the book and the car is 8 years old. Been well looked after but the problems I am experiencing with this one is putting me off Honda's a bit at the moment. If the Honda...

    Alloy Recommendations

Thanks for the info. I have no intention at the moment to lower the car, although I did lower my 7th Gen which looked good. I will fit the 18's first and then decide (The 7th Gen had a huge gaps in the wheel arches and the 8th Gen seem allot better) The Deltas are good although I do prefer...

Hi all, Another possible problem to add to my many for the 8th Gen. This one I have never heard of before and don't even no if it is a start of a problem. When I press the clutch down and select first gear the car wobbles (I would say jerks but it is not a violent movement just gentle). Is...

    Seized near side caliper/piston

By the way £90 for a Caliper is very cheap, I have been quoted £562.14 from Vantage Honda Bradford and no option of a recon Caliper. Other Prices : Halfords = £311 MCC (Local Bradford Garage) = £149 MCC it is then !

    cold air induction kit

I removed my front bumper today to replace a faulty HID ballast. Took me about 20 mins to remove (6 screws in the wheel arch (2 if it is not the GT), about 12 plastics plugs above the grill and about 12 plugs under the bumper) then it just pops off Here is a vid of how easy it is ...

    cold air induction kit

I had the full kit which went in the bumper area on my 7th Gen, the resonator box had to be removed (I think that is what it is called). Sounds difficult but it is quite simple to fit. I originally had a short ram which was fine but when I changed to a full induction it I was alot better. I...

    Cars going in for repairs.

I like the fact you don't have to splice speaker wires to install a Sub as the 8th Gen comes as standard with 10 speakers (4 of them I have upgraded) On a separate note, I have requested a price for replacement speakers from HH and they cost £155 a pair just for standard ones !
