2008 honda accord sports driver side rear door.....remote,door handle,central locking and manual lock ...tried all but cannot open door i can hear the actuator operating but nothing.... handle moves but does not open nor the outside handle lock button is just loose does nothing stripped panel...

Had the same issue with mine tried the "baking" solution but to no avail ..got a replacement unit from a local breakers yard £60.00 first one i got was U/S so they replaced it and this one has been running for 12 months now no problem....i hope i have not just cursed it!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who has offered info....rolled my sleeves up got under car and done it as you said not to much in it....mind you the gearbox filler plug was a prize "B" to remove had to get the rattle gun on it :D

Anyone have a price for changing the gearbox oil? on a 2.2 cdti 08 plate manual or where i could ge it done i know it is "sealed for life" but how long is life? mine has now done 170k so any recommendations would be appreciated (Peterborough area would be GOOD) Thanks all

Bang the turbo has gone ...smoke everywhere had to stall engine as it started to race!! and the ignition key would not shut it down (***ume oil from turbo was keeping it running ) so turbo off next and inspect for further damage ...anyone know where i can pick up a reasonable priced turbo...

I had a similar problem when my battery went flat!!! recharged battery but nothing but nothing would open the tailgate keyfob cabin release and the tailgate itself...so i disconnected the battery for 10 mins reconnected it and hey all works fine try it hopefully it will be as simple as that

My CD unit has gone faulty on my 7th gen tourer my question is....can i just remove it and fit a new one in or does it need some kind of coding ...i have had the unit out and recovered 6 CDs jammed in one all buckled up now i have seen these units on flea bay but do not want to spend good money...

Hi again Farad..yes injectors all injectors removed sent off for testing/refurb refitted still this "misfire" i had some codes come up yesterday both the same P1237 and again all seems great when cold!! losing what little hair i have left LOL

Well the saga goes on to top it all i had the offside ball joint separate dropped the car on its nose (when half way round a junction!!) busted the driveshaft bearings gouged out the inside of the wheel....and i still have this bloody misfire? / over fueling and getting worse...it is still ok...

This may sound daft but how do i clean them and stop any muck going into the cylinder? also they have all been taken out so hopefully it will not be to much trouble removing them again Thanks

Just found out that the injectors are "leaking" i washed the engine down and got a bit to much water around the injectors which started spurting up (engine was running) so it seems that they are not seated correctly!!! So do i take them out if so how do i check the seats!!Thanks

Thanks Fahad Yes they have done a compression test and all 4. Cylinders are an even 310 injectors refurbished but do not know if "coded to car" also need to check if fuel filter it a Honda one if not i will get it changed
