AliTfireblade Well done It's good to see someone come back with the solution. It's really frustrating when people ask questions and just disappear !

    Tourer Boot Locking

When it happened to mine. After I tried everything else advised on here as a last resort I tried the thing I thought most unlikely. Disconnected the battery, waited 10 minutes connected it again and hey presto it worked.

Problem finding front wiper blades or rubber replacements for 1982 Honda Accord MK1 EX 1.6 petrol

I had the same problem with an import car I had a few years back. I welded hooks on that I cut from a pair of old arms. The only problem was remembering what model fitted my car when they needed replacing. ! ( I should have wrote it in the hand book.)

Have you checked the spare wheel compartment for puddles. A common fault with estates.

    Brake disc back plate

    Belt tensioner issue 2.2 cdti

I would try banging a socket or ring spanner on to the pully bolt. To undo the bolt and replace it with a new one. PS I made my own tension tool by welding the end of a ring spanner on to a length of bar.

    Locked Boot

It might be worth trying to see if disconnecting the battery for a few minutes will reset the system. It worked on my estate.

    Number plate parking sensors?

Sensors on the number plate only will not protect the vulnerable part of your car - The corners. I can't comment on magnetic type from experience but I would imagine if they were any good they would be fitted by the trade.

    Blind spot

I guess it depends on the drivers size and consequently the driving position. After my wife borrows my car I have to move the seat back a fair bit and adjust the rear view mirror, so her head must be a lot closer to the A pillar than mine and give her a different view.

ULEZ - Ultra Low Emission Zone

It's clearly obvious saj saw a possible reason why my car could be exempt when he asked if it was a diesel. You didn't make it clear yours was diesel when you said - "Just checked mine, it's an 8th auto tourer, and will be charged if I go into the zone" ! What you have made quite clear is...

ULEZ - Ultra Low Emission Zone

Thanks for the link. Just checked mine and it's not subjected to the charge which is strange as it's older than yours ( 7th Gen ) I wonder if the mayor of london would keep imposing charges if every town adopted the attitude " You're charging us to go in your town so we are going to charge you...

Tow bar on Type S Tourer

Gareth you may also want to consider fitting a cut out switch to the sensors to save the annoyance of the buzzer when reversing with a trailer on. The downside is that you may forget to turn them on again when you unhitch the trailer.

Tow bar on Type S Tourer

My tow bar doesn't interfere with my reversing sensors. Check to see if your sensors have a wedge shaped spacer fitted, if they do they can be rotated to angle the beam away from the tow bar if it does cause problems.
