    Driveshafts or something else?

I've had the same issue on my 2.2. The steering wheel was vibrating at high speed, thought it was the tyre. The driveshaft snapped whilst being tested by the garage. Also had to change discs, pads, caliper, all knackered. The car was veering to the right on hard braking.

Saloon boot button doesn't open the boot

It turns out that the battery was faulty, which affected the boot button, although I could use the fob key to open it. So the battery problem probably started affecting the electrical system for a couple of weeks. Culminating in the car not starting today. New battery. The boot now opens using...

Saloon boot button doesn't open the boot

When I press the button on the tailgate, nothing happens. But I can open via key fob and driver side lever. Unless it's an easy fix, I don't want to mess with it because I have other options to open it - thank god.

ULEZ - Ultra Low Emission Zone

It's not just London, Birmingham has ULEZ in the city centre and surrounding area. If I have to go to ULEZ area, I use public transport. I might trade my diesel in for a 2.0 petrol Accord. ;)

Where to buy 7th Gens in the UK

You have covered the main sites for sourcing the 7th gen. Unfortunately, with the trend for towns to charge to drive non-compliance cars, it's going to be more difficult to find one, especially one in good nick. Most are going to be scrapped.

Help, Accord ICTDI failed MOT on emissions

Mine has been failing on emissions for the last two years. They pour some injector cleaner into the tank whilst running, then it passes on retest.

    V Power diesel

Hi, so I've been having issues with he car jerking at certain speeds. Been using Sainsbury's regular diesel for a couple of years. Was going to book an appointment with the garage to clean out the EGR and inlet, but first switched back to v-power, which never gave me issues. The jerkiness gone...

    Diesel 2.2 -- jerking at 30 and 60mph

When I put my foot down, I get a pile of soot burst out from the exhaust and the car jerks aggressively around 60mph in third. The car has been serviced. I get subtle jerkiness at 30mph as well. Inlet manifold needs a clean? Looking for advice I can relay to my mechanic to look at.

OEM service parts - Honda dealers.

Bosch one looks identical to the Denso one. The Mann looks different. I have noticed the car lurches violently when it hits 60mph in third under harsh acceleration, like its hit a headwind, then carries on. Thought it might be the fuel filter...

    Accord vsa

I've got the dreaded 66-1 and 84-1 error message. Will be on the hunt for a VSA unit from a breakers yard. The car is 16 years old, so ain't too fussed if I don't manage to replace it. Only need it to run for another 12 to 24 months.

Hi, it's that time of the year again. Major service time on my 2006 Accord CDTi Is it okay to use non-OEM Air filter? Can pick'em up for 6 quid as opposed to the genuine one from Honda for 25. When it comes to the fuel filter I buy from Honda as others on here seemed to have had problems with...
