2006 EX Tourer Rear Wheel Bearing Torque

I will try the oil. When you did the Punto, the hub still rotated freely even with the high tq? My. Hub is binding.

2006 EX Tourer Rear Wheel Bearing Torque

I didn't. Only because the car data program didn't specify it. I didn't want to take two data sets and pick bits out of both. Worth undoing and re-torquing with oil applied? I don't want to damage the hub.

2006 EX Tourer Rear Wheel Bearing Torque

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did find this during my research. Problem is, anything much over 64Nm it goes solid.

2006 EX Tourer Rear Wheel Bearing Torque

Hi all, I've got a query regarding the torque that should be applied to the hub nut on the rear bearings. I'm replacing both sides and can't find a sensible torque figure that doesn't sieze the hub ***embly. I contacted a friend that works in the trade they used their car data program and...

    2.2 I-CTDI Management Light/Hesitation/Non-starting

Thanks for everyone's help. Did a little more digging with the scanner and have replaced the crankshaft sensor. All fixed, fault is no longer showing itself.

Could this be the source of the fault?

    2.2 I-CTDI Management Light/Hesitation/Non-starting

Did the injector flow back test yesterday, nothing really to report. No.2 appears to be leaking slightly more than the others. I did notice this however. The IPC shows a cylinder similar in design to others around the bay and residue of some adhesive. Thoughts?

Ah, I see. Not sure how to blank the valve, can I isolate it any other way? Found this, would it work? https://www.civinfo.com/threads/egr-valve.361554/post-4777562

    2.2 I-CTDI Management Light/Hesitation/Non-starting

Did a live record on my way into work this morning. The EGR valve was still connected as it should be. Can't say I really felt any proper hesitations but I'm a little sus about the data recorded. Any thoughts with this trace? EGR Status appears to fluctuate randomly from 0 to 14, not sure what...

I was considering the code to be a false lead, as I think you said in an earlier reply. What's the best way to test the EGR?

Update The hesitation fault now appears significantly more intermittent than before. Seems more apparent in the colder mornings, again when the engine warms up. Coolant temperature approx 1/4 up from cold. Management light came on this time with a reasonably large jolt and it's showing P0340...

Eekk! I should know better than to mash buttons.

    2.2 I-CTDI Management Light/Hesitation/Non-starting

Fuel rail refitted, belt on and engine fired up with a bit of prompting with the fuel bulb. Drive and hesitation still seems to be there, however... Drove again to work the next day and it hesitated a little bit *sigh*. Have driven it since and so far no hesitation. I've got a code reader...

    84-1 Code/Yellow Triangle

Thought this might be useful, found it out by accident. Used a borrowed Snap On code reader to clear 3 crankshaft sensor fault codes left by my fuel issue a few weeks ago. On the scan an antilock code also appeared, 84-1. Whilst the scan was reading, my ABS, VSA and yellow triangle fault...

Looks very similar. The valve is out and the replacement is in. Just need to re-fit the fuel rail when I get home tonight. Refit the belt, bleed the pipework and hopefully a test drive!

Finally out, she put up a fight! No match for a Snap On stud extractor! The replacement I bought using mlkehunt's part numbers (Pt/No: 1110010018) appears to fit, hopefully it'll work. Hopefully all back together tonight!

We've got Snap On nut removers at work, I'll give them a go. I don't have an impact gun, possibly a neighbour might.

I see your Doh and match it. Belt loosened, PS pump unshipped...relief valve rounded off! I've got a tool at work that might get it off, not holding my breath though. Might be in the market for a replacement fuel rail now. Double Doh!

I was wrong, it's the power steering pump! Having real issues trying to get the aux belt off. Will come back when I've made some progress.
