Have the parts there, just keep putting it off. I have however, been greasing the push rod and that seems to get rid of 90% of the issues. It still sticks the odd time and I will get around to fitting them just seems like a nightmare job
Yeah slave looks handy and im familiar with the bleeding process, its the master cylinder that seems do-able but awkward. Even trying to have a look at clutch pedal pin and stuff is hard, limited access.
So just for anyone else that may be following as i know its a common issue. I've gone ahead and ordered an ABE F94006ABE Clutch Master Cylinder - EUR 44, as I've spoken to another 8th gen owner who's running it with no issues and also my Honda dealership recccommended using aftermnarket parts as...
Hi all,
Currently looking to replace clutch slave cylinder on 2010 Accord Mk8 part number 46930-TL0-G02. Can find genuine for 200+, and can only find aftermarket ones that are listed for Type S engine only. Are the slave cylinders different on standard 150 hp and type s 180hp? Also found a...
Old thread I know, but does anyone know the bolt size or where to get one? Mine is beginning to round so would rather replace it now while it’s not too late. Cheers
Okay thanks. Does anyone know the part number? It’s 2.2 I-dtec 150bhp. Also if someone could post a pictures of their lower suspensions joints on the rear for me to compare to it would be much appreciated! You should be able see them without taking off the wheel :)
Thanks for the reply. No noticeable noises or clunking from the joint, I will test for play the next time I’m doing some work with the car. How tight should it be? Should it be flush with the arm or should there be a small gap?
So, I’m no mechanic and this might be a dumb question but I would prefer the peace of mind to know the answer. Just wondering if my rear lower suspension arm (excuse me if that’s not the correct name :/ ) should look like this. Or should the metal collar be tightened so it’s flush with the arm...
Okay good to know, So are they the very same as the genuine ones? I've always used genuine but should i be ok to use Bosch? And just to confirm both oil and fuel filter are made by Bosch? What about the air filter/cabin filter, do you know who makes them or what brand to go for? I've always used...
So I recently spoke to a Honda Specialist near me and he told me that MAHLE actually make the Honda fuel filters for the 2.2 Accord CU3's and also the diesel 1.6's. So my question is should i just be buying MAHLE filters and not spending almost double for "Genuine" honda filters? I have read...
So just to update, picked up a second hand passenger switch today for €25 off a guy breaking an accord. Switched it out and all problems solved :) Window going up and down, mirror folding in and out, boot working and ambers lighting up when locking/unlocking car. Anyone having this issue I would...
No part number but I ***ume it’s the same as the one that came out of mine which was 35760-TL0-E01-M1, although after looking around it does seem like only the 35760-TL0 matters, like mentioned earlier in this forum post. As for the diagnostic it cost €40-50 I’m not 100% sure as I also got them...
