Rear Brakes ... pads and disk replacement

You say you have the tourer in the 8th gen. In that case you won’t have the handbrake shoes and will be pads that do both like the 7th gen saloon. For some reason Honda swapped the break system around.

Rear Brakes ... pads and disk replacement

8th gen has the same rear brake set up as the 7th gen tourer with the separate brake shoes for the handbrake. Iv replaced both calipers on my car from Euro car parts at around £80 per side.

Reverse light not working, tried everything?!

As said above you need a multi metre and start at the reverse switch and then back to your light. I have known in the past for new switches to be faulty. Was it a genuine Honda part.

    Gear Change Prompt Display

From what I can tell it’s a eco driving device and it’s trigerd by RPM. After a wile you won’t even look at it as TBO it’s a waste of time.

    CU2 whistle sound

Def not the gearbox. Will check mine later but Iv got a full ram induction kit so might be hard. TBH that just sounds like a good air flow from your air filter. I would check under the hood and get someone to rev the car.

    CU2 whistle sound

Sounds like the very common gearbox wine. My car does this now and again if your on a slight incline and Rev very lightly on the throttle. When was the gearbox fluids last change as I do mine every couple of years.

    Rear seat Removal

No don’t have that Paul in mine. Perhaps it’s only on the tourer so might be slightly different to the saloon. I’m sure some of the tourer members will add to my comments.

    Rear seat Removal

Hi Paul if it’s like my 8th gen saloon it’s very easy. If you lay the back of the seats flat there is 1 bolt in the centre of the seats at the back towards the boot. Also there are 2 plastic clips at the front of the 2 main seat panels underneath. Go careful with these as there easy to snap...

Good luck on the viewing and hope it’s all ok. I think you will be only the 3rd member Hear to have a manual CU2 including myself if you buy it.

Aux (fan) Belt change on a 2009 2.2 8th Gen Accord

Good stuff Sam. My petrol has a lot more room under the bonnet that a diesel so I didn’t need to remove the wheel arch cover on mine. As for photos I’m sure Firefox and chrome had add ons now to show your photos.

    Rear Camera Lens

Good stuff Pete I no rain ex is good for repelling water and adds a coating so might be good for this. Iv got a bottle in the shed so will try myself but a saloon don’t chuck so much road grim as a tourer.

Aux (fan) Belt change on a 2009 2.2 8th Gen Accord

If it is the same as my 2.4 it’s a 10 min job very easy. I used a long open ended spanner no problem.
