Front or rear? I've just replaced the rears on my 2006 facelift i-CDTi Sport Saloon and they were 260mm. Some other models apparently have 280mm rears (possibly 2.4 petrol) but should definitely be 260mm on yours and mine. If in doubt, consult a tape measure!

Thanks Jamie Stuart - the only label on my car was on the driver's side door jamb, and it was for tyre pressures. However, once I knew what the format of the paint code was, I got it from the VIN plate. Cheers

OK, found it. If anyone needs to find it on the VIN plate, it's on the right-hand section of the plate, second line, e.g.: NH-623M (Satin Silver).

Type-V dials are white, and most of them seem to have auto 'boxes. I'm sure I saw a crashed Type-V on Ebay recently, they might be breaking it. Worth a look...

Mine was a QH kit, fitted by independent garage. I did have an appointment to take it back in to check, but it's such a minor annoyance I felt like a bit of a fusspot! From past experience of such things, I usually find my hearing to be more sensitive than the mechanic's!

That certainly looks like the answer. Did the Infinity unit fit in the spot where the Bose came out?

Couple of questions: 1. Why is the CD button marked CD AUX? It raises my hopes that there's an AUX input somewhere but the owner's manual refers to it as just a CD selection button. I'm pretty sure there is no AUX function but am puzzled by what the button says on it. 2. I have no CD...

Just resurrecting this thread for a minute..... Did you lose the whistle noise in the end? I'm sure it is timing or balancer belt as mine's exactly the same after the belts were done a couple of weeks ago. Does if go away or do I need the garage to recheck the tension? Derek

Where do you connect it? I have the standard Bose system with no CD multichanger - is there a connection on the back of the head unit for a changer or xcarlink style kit? Derek
