Colour codes

How do I find the colour code for my car? The owner's manual says where it should be, but not how to identify what the code should look like. :huh:

It says the code should be either on a sticker on the driver's door jamb, or on the VIN plate. On my car the sticker is all about tyre pressures, and the VIN has quite a few unidentified numbers on it and I don't know which would be the colour code.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here!

The colour should be there as you said or try your log book it should be somewhere in the chassis number.

OK, found it.

If anyone needs to find it on the VIN plate, it's on the right-hand section of the plate, second line, e.g.:

NH-623M (Satin Silver).

I though paint codes/trim codes etc were usually in the passenger side door jamb?

Stuart - the only label on my car was on the driver's side door jamb, and it was for tyre pressures. However, once I knew what the format of the paint code was, I got it from the VIN plate.
